Saying I am user experience designer is very easy but make sure that are you really a UX designer or not? If you want to become a UX designer stay firm and follow these points.
There is huge difference between UX and UI designers, but these both words are confused by many peoples making trouble for customer and stakeholder. Some designers who are actually design the user interfaces called themselves User experience designers. We have to understand that user interface is just small part of the experience, it’s not the whole UX designing.
There is no problem to being a UI designer, but if you really want to become a master of user experience designing then you have to abandon the comfortable lifestyle and look forward.
If you want to become a good user experience designer you have to adopt UX designer’s behavior and change your attitude. Being a designer we always look after what our roles are. Apart from that, in UX designing we have to show flexibility and discontinue the thinking “it’s not my field of ability”.
We are always rigid towards the work of other people if not done properly done, we don’t solve the issue. After all we are not responsible for their work, and we are not paid to do work.
As said early we show rigid attitude towards other work. If anyone call himself a UX designer he is responsible for any everything which has some relations and impacts on user experience.
A user experience person should be deviant from other designers. He should change the old conventional standards, roles and approaches of doing business. You have to become strong, determent and stay firm for good user experience even if you face any problem or issue.
Think of situation when you are not allowed to use a specific design method. Someone says it’s against the company’s policy and brand guidelines. What will you do in this condition?
A user interface designer may bow his knee before the problem. But a UX designer would not accept that as branding is not his filed of concern. They work in a team with the responsible ones.

They are the component of vast client experience. One can have the finest website in the world; but if the client experience is not good, than you have failed to be the best

I had a work experience once at e-commerce site that deliver frozen prepared meal to the aged people. The people were not mostly comfortable with the thought of e-commerce. What we need is to make the whole thing easy to understand. In order to make things easier from online purchasing experience we need to concentrate on different perspectives and make the user feel comfort regarding security and privacy. But a solution of the experience is not the user interface. Aged customers feel hesitation about the product that had been purchased and shipped to their door. It is a fact especially when the services offered to open the delivered product at client’s house. Being a user interface designer it would be enticing to insert a conformation message on the website saying this is what we are capable of. Apart from that we can inform police to check all shipping personnel to ensure customer comfort.
Always keep in mind the main point that the digital tools we develop are just one small component of the client experience.Other areas such as customer service, fulfillment, governance and strategy are also critical to the experience.
